HAMILTON, Ont. -- Hamilton police say a 27-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he fell off a Jeep early Monday.
They say the 33-year-old driver of the vehicle showed signs of alcohol consumption and was arrested after the incident (on Emerson Avenue) and taken to a police station for a breath test.
The victim was a passenger of the Jeep, which had no doors.
The driver faces charges including impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
No names have been released and police say the investigation is continuing.
