UPDATE: Documents obtained by CTV News Toronto show that the charges against David Kovacs were withdrawn in July 2017.

Five people are facing a laundry list of firearms related charges following a police search at a residence in Oshawa.

Police said officers from both the gun and gang enforcement unit and tactical support unit executed a search warrant at a home located on Cricklewood Avenue on Nov. 4.

The search allegedly yielded a 12-guage shotgun, a rifle and a sawed-off shot gun as well as over 100 rounds of ammunition and a compound bow.

Officers said undisclosed quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and hydromorph pills – with a total street value of approximately $8,500 -- were also seized during the search.

According to police, two of the guns found at the residence were stolen from another Oshawa home earlier this year.

Five people were arrested and charged following the search.

Suspects identified as David Kovacs, 37, Amanda Hutton, 32, Christopher Merklinger, 29, Todd Stapley, 47, and Kayla-Lynn Marquardt, 39, all of Oshawa, each face 10 charges related to the discovery of weapons and drugs.

They were all remanded in custody until a bail hearing.
