The driver who hit a 6-year-old girl in Toronto's Leaside neighbourhood is facing charges in connection to the crash.
Georgia Walsh died in hospital after she was hit by a van at Millwood Road and McRae Drive on Wednesday, July 16.
The girl's father is John Walsh, president of the Conservative Party of Canada.
The 50-year-old driver of the Toyota Sienna that hit the girl has been charged with failure to stop at a red light and careless driving.
He is scheduled to appear in College Park Courts on Monday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.
