A man's body was found in an open area bounded by three schools in Brampton, Ont. Thursday.

Peel Regional Police have closed off an area around Centre and Vodden Streets after someone stumbled upon the body of a white male, between the ages of 20 and 30.

Police have not released any information on the person who discovered the body.

Sir John A. MacDonald Middle School, St. Anne Elementary School and Kingswood Drive Public School back on to the property where the body was found.

The body was found in the fetal position, but there appears to be no trauma to the body, Const. Lily Fitzpatrick told CTV Toronto.

Police believe the death was accidental, and are no longer treating it as suspicious. They believe the man was intoxicated, passed out, and died of hypothermia.
