OTTAWA -- Justin Trudeau is trying to school Ontario Tory Leader Tim Hudak on his math skills.

The federal Liberal leader laid into Hudak's plan to cut public sector jobs during a Wednesday evening rally in Ottawa with Premier Kathleen Wynne.

Hudak's platform for Ontario's June 12 election has been criticized by experts who say faulty math has inflated the number of jobs his policies would create.

Trudeau says his kids don't need a premier who wants to make cuts to education and pick fights with teachers.

The former educator says he doesn't understand why Conservatives dislike teachers so much.

He says maybe it's because teachers are actually good at math.
