AJAX, Ont. - Police say the final two British bulldog puppies that were stolen from a pet store in Ajax, Ont., have been recovered and a suspect faces charges.

Police say someone forced their way into The Puppy Store early Monday and made off with the four puppies.

Investigators located one of the pups -- valued at $2,000 each -- for sale on the Internet website Kijiji.

That led to the arrest of two people at a Toronto restaurant and the recovery of one puppy. A second puppy was found later Tuesday during a raid on an Ajax home.

Police say the final two puppies were recovered Tuesday night in downtown Toronto.

James Colley, 37, of Ajax, is charged with break and enter offences, possession of property obtained by crime and driving while under suspension. A second person was released without charges.
