Service on the Scarborough RT line got off to a late start Friday due to rail problems.
Because of the problems, trains were unable to operate when service was scheduled to start around 6 a.m., so shuttle buses were brought in to transport passengers between Kennedy and McCowan stations.
Train service began when the rail problems were resolved around 7:30 a.m.
