Toronto police are seeking information on a man they believe tried to lure a 12-year-old boy into a van on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at around 2 p.m. in the Dupont Street and Ossington Street area. The man attempted to lure the 12-year-old, who was riding his bicycle at the time, into a van.
The boy rode home, and alerted his parents.
Police have obtained security footage of the man and the van, and have released those images to the public.
Police describe the man as white, around 60-years-old, of heavy build, and balding with salt and pepper hair, and white facial hair. At the time, he was wearing a dark-coloured tank top, and dark-coloured pants.
The van appeared to be an older, brown or grey, Ford Windstar-style van.
