VAUGHAN, Ont. - Police say what they were treating as the attempted abduction of a toddler north of Toronto may not have happened after all.

Earlier Monday, investigators said a man tried to snatch a two-year-old boy at Vaughan Mills Park in Vaughan just before 10 a.m.

But they're now questioning whether there was in fact an abduction attempt.

Police say the man "may have had an interaction" with the child.

They're asking him to contact them.
