Toronto's latest homicide victim was 16 years old, police said Monday.
Mahamad Adbi Warsame was found dead in the stairwell of a building on Cougar Court on Sunday afternoon.
He suffered obvious signs of trauma. An autopsy revealed Warsame died of multiple blunt-impact trauma to his body.
The victim did not live in the building, police say. Authorities are asking the public for help in tracing Warsame's steps in the days before his death.
Police say they do not know if the murder is linked to another death in the same building late last month.
