CLARINGTON, Ont. - A pilot has been taken to hospital after a plane crash in Clarington, Ont., about 80 kilometres east of Toronto.
Durham regional police say the plane went down at about 1:10 p.m. in a field.
Police say the pilot suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The pilot was the only person on the plane.
There's no word on what kind of plane was involved.
Police, emergency and Transport Canada officials are on the scene.
