A 52-year-old woman was killed Monday in what is the city's 17th homicide of the year, police said Friday.
Police said they were called to an address at 40 Firvalley Ct., near Warden Avenue south of St. Clair Avenue, on Monday.
They arrived to find the lifeless body of the 52-year-old woman.
Her name is being withheld until police can notify next-of-kin.
Police charged Kevin Noble, 52, of Toronto with second-degree murder on Wednesday.
He appeared in a Toronto court on Thursday morning.
