A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in the downtown core Sunday evening.
Emergency officials were called to York Street and Bremner Boulevard near the Air Canada Centre shortly before 5:30 p.m.
Paramedics arrived and found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
He was rushed to a trauma centre in serious, but non-life-threatening condition, EMS said.
The events leading up to the shooting were not immediately clear.
No arrests have been made so far, police said.
Sections of York Street and Bremner Boulevard have been closed off as police investigate the shooting.
