A man in his 50s who was reported missing from a Whitby mental health facility has been found in the Toronto area.
The 55-year-old was last seen leaving Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Durham Regional Police said.
In a statement, officers said he was located by Toronto police on Monday in the Mount Pleasant Road and St. Clair Avenue area.
He was escorted to a local hospital to be assessed.
