Police say a 23-year-old break-and-enter suspect has died after falling through the window of a downtown steakhouse Sunday.
Officers responded to the call at 6:50 a.m. on Sunday at the Keg Mansion, located at 515 Jarvis St. It is unclear when the fall occurred.
Police say the man fell a “considerable distance” and before officers found him in the restaurant’s lobby. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators later determined that the man had broken into the restaurant, before falling through a stained-glass window on the building’s third floor.
The suspect died of his injuries on Monday.
