Police are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects after three people, including a three-year-old child, were tied up during an armed home invasion in Malvern Sunday afternoon.
According to police, two men, one with a handgun, broke into a home near Sheppard Avenue and Neilson Road around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the two men found a mother, father and a three-year-old child inside the living room of the home and tied all of them up.
The men then demanded money and threatened to kill the child if money wasn’t turned over to them, police said.
The men took money and jewelry and fled, police said.
Police are looking for two suspects, both white males.
The first suspect is described as between 25-35 years of age, about 6’2”, with a slim build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and a light-coloured grey tracksuit.
The second man is described as between 25-35 years of age and between 5’3” and 5’5” tall. He was wearing a black ski mask.
