Toronto police have arrested a 48-year-old man on sex assault charges dating back more than two decades.
Police say they began investigating the alleged offences in April.
They say a boy was invited to spend the night at a man's home sometime between 1994 and 1996.
While there, police allege the boy was sexually assaulted.
Dexter Slater of Toronto is facing four charges including sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Police say they believe there may be other victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
