As Ontario students head back to class after the Christmas break, some school districts have cancelled school buses due to poor road conditions.

Both the Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board say there are no school bus cancellations or school closures to report for their students.

There are some cancellations, mostly outside the GTA.

Here is a list of school bus cancellations for Monday, January 6, 2014:

  • Peel District School Board: All Caledon buses are cancelled but all other buses are running and all schools are open
  • Durham Region public and Catholic schools: Student transportation services north of Highway 7 are cancelled
  • All buses in Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario jurisdiction, including Kawartha Pine Ridge DSB and Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington CDSB
  • Buses in Dufferin County and Caledon
  • Wellington Dufferin school buses
  • All buses and vans in Simcoe County
  • All rural buses in Waterloo Region
  • Windsor-Essex
  • All buses to schools in Muskoka, Haliburton and City of Kawartha Lakes for Trillium Lakelands District School Board
  • All buses to Honey Harbour Public School
  • In cottage country, all buses to St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School, Monsignor Michael O'Leary, Saint Mary and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic elementary schools
  • Buses to St. John's (Kirkfield), St. Mary's, St. Dominic, St. Luke's and Pope John Paul elementary schools and St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School in City of Kawartha Lakes
  • Dundalk, Flesherton, Markdale and Maxwell
  • Owen Sound
  • Lion's Head and Tobermory
  • Meaford and Thornbury
  • Parry Sound
  • East Parry Sound
  • West Nipissing
  • Britt and Nobel
  • Mactier, Humphrey, Rosseau
