BLOOMFIELD, ONTARIO - Three people have been charged in connection with the alleged sexual assaults of three girls from two separate foster homes in a southeastern Ontario village.
Provincial police say a teenaged girl reported last November that she had been assaulted in 2003 and 2004 while living in a foster home in Bloomfield.
In June, two other girls came forward alleging they had been victimized in 2007 and 2010.
Police say the accused all lived in Bloomfield at the time of the alleged assaults.
Richard Fildey, 44, of Cameron, has been charged with sexual interference, sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Sherilee Slatter, 34, of Sudbury, faces charges of sexual assault, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, distributing child pornography and two counts of sexual exploitation.
Ronald Slatter, 63, of Bloomfield, has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and sexual exploitation.
