BELLEVILLE - A southeastern Ontario woman was handed a two-year sentence for child pornography offences involving her infant daughter.
The name of the 29-year-old woman, who resides in the area of Belleville, Ont., cannot be released to protect her daughter's identity.
During the sentencing hearing, she was also ordered to register with the provincial sex offender registry.
The woman pleaded guilty on March 1 to sexual interference and producing child porn.
Police allege thousands of pictures of an 11-month-old girl were found on the child's father's cellphone after he lost it last August.
The 24-year-old father, who also lives near Belleville, received a six-year prison sentence in February.
