BRANTFORD, Ont. -- A two-vehicle collision Friday evening on Highway 403 west of Brantford has left one woman dead.
Police say the woman was westbound on the highway when her car crossed the median and collided with a car in the eastbound lane.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Brantford General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No names have been released and police say the eastbound lanes at the accident site will remain closed until early Saturday while they investigate.
Police are asking anyone who was on Highway 403 and witnessed the collision to call investigators.
