A 49-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing at a downtown rooming house last month.
Stephen Russell, 58, was stabbed following an altercation in the Church and Charles streets area at around 9 p.m. on July 29.
Details on the circumstances surrounding the stabbing have not been provided by investigators.
In a release issued Monday night, police identified a suspect charged in connection with the case.
Kitten Keyes is charged with second-degree murder. She is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
