Woman charged in death of 16-year-old daughter

CAMPBELLFORD, Ont. - Provincial police have made an arrest in the death in late April of a 16-year-old Campbellford girl.

Tasha Lavigne was found dead on April 24 at the Emilyville Bed and Breakfast in Campbellford, 50 kilometres east of Peterborough.

Police have charged the girl's mother, Cindy Lavigne, 46, of North Bay, with manslaughter and drug trafficking.

The police investigation is continuing.
