THUNDER BAY, Ont. -- Police in Thunder Bay, Ont., say a 32-year-old woman has been charged in a homicide involving a woman found dead on a local bike path.

City police began investigating the incident after a woman's body was found near a local inn early Tuesday morning.

They say a passerby called 911 after discovering the body.

They have not released the victim's name or revealed the cause of death.

Police say they arrested the woman on Wednesday evening and charged her with one count of second-degree murder.

The scene of the homicide is still being held and police say their investigation is ongoing.
