A woman faces charges after a man was found dead in an apartment building near Greenwood Avenue and Danforth Avenue early Monday morning.
Paramedics said they got a call around 2:30 a.m. with reports of someone without vital signs at the address.
When paramedics got to the apartment they said they had difficulties getting to the male patient, due to a hoarding problem in the apartment.
A 63-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and paramedics called police.
Police said Monday that they arrested a 61-year-old woman who lived in the same apartment building, but not the same unit.
She was charged with failing to provide the necessities of life.
