Good news for GO Transit users – Metrolinx is looking to add Wi-Fi access to all GO trains and buses.

The transit agency posted a request for “expressions of interest” on Monday, in hopes of finding a partner willing to fully equip GO vehicles with the service.

The request asks those interested in a partnership to apply to Metrolinx by June 22. It’s unclear how long it would take GO to implement the Wi-Fi service once a suitable partner is found.

Wi-Fi is currently available at 64 TTC subway stations and plans are underway to expand service to riders while they make their way between stations.
