A man shot in the city's west end over the weekend has died of his injuries.

Toronto police announced Monday that 23-year-old Qoheleth Chong died in hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound to his neck.

Chong was shot at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday morning, on College Street just east of Bathurst Street.

He was transferred to hospital without vital signs.

Investigators are asking the public for help locating two suspects seen running from the scene iof the shooting incident.

One is described as a slim, 6'1" black male last seen wearing a tan or khaki jacket or shirt. The other is described as a 5'9" black male last spotted in all black, baggy clothing.
