Looking to celebrate this upcoming Victoria Day holiday with a bang? Here are the top places to view fireworks this weekend.
Ashbridges Bay Park
Rain or shine, the pyrotechnics at Ashbridges Bay Park are bound to be a show stopper. Beginning at 10 p.m., 2,000 fireworks will be set off, all leading up to a spectacular finale. It is suggested residents get to the park early in order to ensure you get a good spot.
TTC service will be increased between Queen St. East and Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) on Coxwell, Main, and Woodbine bus routes. There will be a special viewing area available for people with disabilities.

Canada’s Wonderland
If you are looking for something a little more adventurous, try spending the day at Canada’s Wonderland. After a day of rides and games, your family can enjoy a Victoria Day show like no other. Around 10 p.m. the park will deploy 6,000 fireworks into the night sky.

Dundas Driving Park
For those who want to get out of the city, the City of Hamilton and the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club have joined forces for a Victoria Day celebration. Snacks, glow sticks, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Get there early, as the show begins at 9:30 p.m.
This event is weather permitting. A rain date has been scheduled for Monday, May 19.
