It has never been a secret that a woman looks most attractive to a man while wearing a baseball cap featuring the logo of his favourite team.

Science will eventually get around to irrefutably proving the fact, thus leading to world peace and the rejuvenation of North America's waning bee population.

Until then, Victoria's Secret has picked up on the revelation and expanded the concept into a line of baseball-inspired ladies loungewear that includes hoodies, sweat pants and undies featuring team logos and cheeky slogans.

Included in the line are Toronto Blue Jays shirts with deep V necklines, hats and shirts with sequin logos on the front and lacy underwear stamped with the phrase, "Take me Home."

"They do the traditional sportswear but with really feminine cuts," Victoria's Secret model Elsa Hosk explained to CTV Canada AM on Monday.

"They are blinged out, they have the whole collections. Even a pair of panties. Who wouldn't want to rock these?"

The line has even re-imagined the traditional baseball jersey, releasing their version with a lighter polyester mesh that is perfect, according to Hosk, for jumping around and partying at the game.

"All women just want to look cute cheering on their favourite team," she said.

Similar items are available in the theme of other Major League Baseball teams, each ranging in price from $29 to $68.

Hosk will join Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie at the Victoria's Secret store in the Toronto Eaton Centre on Monday to promote the new line.
