A 22-year-old male was rushed to a hospital trauma centre after a shooting in Scarborough's Oakridge neighbourhood on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at Main Street and Danforth Avenue.
Police said a male victim was in a moving vehicle with a passenger when the vehicle was struck by multiple shots.
The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the arm, police said. Initially, it was reported he had also suffered a gunshot wound to his leg.
There is no suspect information at this time.
Danforth Avenue was closed in both directions at Main Street. Around 5 p.m., police said the eastbound and westbound lanes on Danforth Avenue from Chisholm to Barrington avenues were closed while officers continued to investigate.
