ORANGEVILLE, Ont. -- A teenager was killed and two other people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash west of Orangeville, Ont., on Christmas Day.
Provincial police say it appears a car travelling east on Dufferin County Road 109 at about 1:15 p.m. crossed into the oncoming lane and sideswiped a pickup truck.
The only person in the car, 17-year-old Erin Eidt of Shelburne, Ont., was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man driving the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and his female passenger suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Both were taken by ambulance to an area hospital
