A vacant car has been found submerged in the Lake Ontario just off the shore of a west-end park, Thursday morning.

Toronto police say the car was found submerged in water at Marie Curtis Park, south of Queen Elizabeth Way on the border between Mississauga and Toronto.

The car was found about 25 feet from the beach with only its roof visible.

The car has been pulled from the lake, although Toronto Fire officials say it is unclear how long the car has been there.
