FERGUS, Ont. - A two-year-old girl has died after a farm accident in Wellington county.
The OPP say a 35-year-old Mapleton man was driving a tractor as the young girl ran out of the barn.
The man didn't see the child and she was struck by the tractor.
She was taken to Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus where she died from her injuries.
The farm was on Wellington Road 17 west of Alma.
The Farm Safety Association has been notified of incident.
