A house in central Toronto caught fire after two Molotov cocktails were thrown at the home early Monday morning.

Toronto police confirm that two homemade bombs were thrown at 489 Winona Drive, near Oakwood and Eglinton Avenues, at around 1:30 a.m.

Police arrived at the scene and were able to stomp out the blaze. No injuries were reported from the incident.

Three people had been arrested on a nearby street after the incident, but were released unconditionally a short time later.

The home was also targeted over the weekend, when several gunshots were fired at the home and a vehicle in the driveway.

Police said on Monday that they believe the two incidents are related. The investigation is ongoing.
