Two men were taken to hospital after a shooting near Allen Road and Hwy. 401, Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Varna Drive and Leila Lane.
Police were called by area residents who heard gunfire.
When they arrived they found two men, both 20, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say both men were shot in the leg; several shell casings were found in the area.
Both men were taken to Sunnybrook hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say five male suspects left the scene in a dark vehicle.
The shooting is less than a block from the place where 24-year-old Randy Anthony Malcolm was found with gunshot injuries in the Cather Crescent and Trafford Lane area in August.
He later died in hospital.
