Shots rang out in Ajax on Saturday, leaving two people injured with gunshot wounds.
The double shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m., and police later found two males at the scene.
The identity of the males was not immediately known.
Police said that one of the men had a serious head injury, while the other had been shot in the leg.
The victims were taken to hospital in Toronto for treatment.
Charges were not immediately filed in the case.
