Two elderly pedestrians struck by vehicle

Two elderly pedestrians are in hospital after they were struck by a car in Scarborough Sunday morning.

Toronto Police Traffic Services department is investigating the accident which took place at 9:30 a.m. at Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue.

Both are expected to recover from their injuries.

One was taken to Sunnybrook hospital for treatment while the other was transported to Scarborough General Hospital.
