Two Canada Post employees have been accused of stealing mail from a postal outlet in Mississauga, Ont., according to Peel Regional Police.

Mail containing cash, gift cards, electronics and other valuable items are believed to have been stolen from the Campobello Road outlet, police say.

Two Canada Post employees from Brampton have been arrested in connection with the thefts.

Sandra Collins, 42, and James Koyanagi, 34, were arrested and charged on June 2.

Authorities are asking residents in the northwest area of Mississauga, including Meadowvale and Streetsville, to contact investigators if they haven't received items they were expecting to be delivered by Canada Post.

Anyone who hasn't received items they were expecting in the mail can call detectives at 905-453-2121 ext. 1133.
