Service on TTC’s Line 1 is back after a signal issue Monday morning stopped trains across the entire route, but delays persist during the morning commute.

The issue extended from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station all the way around the downtown core and back up to Finch Station.

Commuters were forced to use shuttle buses during the service interruption, which lasted approximately 30 minutes.

This is the second time this week that service on the busy line has been suspended due to a signal issue.

The TTC says customers should expect residual delays as it recovers.
