Peel police have issued an arrest warrant for a Toronto man who is wanted for attempted murder.

Nepaul McMorris is described as a medium-built black male who stands six feet tall.

The 22-year-old weighs 155 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and pockmarks on his face.

Police say McMorris is not to be approached in person as he is considered armed and dangerous.

McMorris is wanted in connection with an Oct. 11 shooting that occurred near Dundas and Hurontario Streets. Police say a man was shot following an altercation in the area, but received hospital treatment and has since been released.

Anyone who has knowledge of McMorris' whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
