AJAX, Ont. - A Toronto man has been charged with attempted murder after a weekend shooting in Ajax.
Durham regional police say a 40-year-old Ajax man received gunshot injuries to his head Saturday evening, and allege the suspect had self-inflicted leg injuries.
Neither man's injuries were life-threatening.
The Ajax man continues to recover and has been released from hospital.
Police say Andrew Kreko, 23, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and several firearms offences.
He has been remanded into custody.
