TINY TOWNSHIP, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police say they are investigating a possible drowning in Georgian Bay on Sunday.
They say officers were dispatched to Bluewater Beach in Tiny Township around 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report that friends who'd gone swimming with a 35-year-old Toronto man had found him in the water without vital signs.
Paramedics performed CPR on the man after he was pulled from the water but he was later pronounced dead in Georgian Bay General Hospital.
His name was been with held pending notification of next of kin.
