TORONTO - A 31-year-old Toronto man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman two months ago.
Police were called to a home in Toronto on Sept. 1 and found the lifeless body of a woman.
Her identity wasn't known at the time, but police now say she was 25-year-old Shakaira Hogan.
David French turned himself in to police on Tuesday.
Hogan's death marks the 72nd homicide of the year in Toronto.
