One man was taken to hospital with minor lacerations following a stabbing at a residence in Mississauga early Sunday morning.
It happened at an address on Oslo Crescent near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Derry Road at around 4 a.m.
Police initially said that they were investigating the incident as a home invasion; however they now say that they believe it was just a dispute between several people that escalated.
A woman was also assessed by paramedics on scene but did not require further treatment.
Police say that they have taken three suspects into custody in connection with the incident.
