Three pedestrians were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Mississauga late Monday afternoon.
The accident happened at Burnhamthorpe Road just south of Dixie Road at around 4:30 p.m.
Two victims are in their twenties and another is in her 50s. All three were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police remained at the scene to investigate the crash. The intersection is expected to remain closed throughout the evening traffic rush.
