Police are investigating three overnight stabbings across the Toronto area on Friday, including one at the Canadian National Exhibition.
Toronto police said one person was stabbed near the CNE Ferris wheel late Thursday evening. The victim was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Another man was taken to a Brampton hospital Friday morning after being stabbed in the arm in the Queen Street and Dixie Road, Peel Regional Police said.
At least two people have been arrested, police confirmed.
Meantime, Halton Regional Police are investigating after four people were stabbed in a bar parking lot in Georgetown, Ont. Five men were arrested at the scene.
The three attacks have not been connected by police.
