Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal stabbing of a Brampton man during a home invasion last week, according to Peel Regional Police.

Authorities say 21-year-old Shevon Bailey and a 15-year-old male were taken into custody on Wednesday. They each face a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 38-year-old George Kalogerakis.

The arrest comes hours after police publicly identified Bailey as a suspect and announced a Canada-wide search warrant in his name.

The 15-year-old suspect cannot be named as he has been charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

A third suspect was arrested over the weekend. Isaac Kwakye, 18, has also been charged with first-degree murder. He was remanded into custody after making a court appearance on Sunday.

Police say they expect to make more arrests in the case.

Kalogerakis was killed at around 1 a.m. on November 12 inside his home on Earth Star Trail. Police say a number of suspects rushed the man during what they believe was a home invasion.

The man's mother was reportedly also inside the house when she and her son were attacked.

The family's car was stolen but was later retrieved in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue community in Toronto.

Investigators are trying to determine the motive behind the home invasion but suspect the intruders were looking for drugs and cash.
