A 16-year-old innocent bystander was struck by a stray bullet at a bus stop early Sunday morning, and is now fighting for his life in hospital.

Just before 2 a.m., an altercation broke out between two suspects near a bus stop at Dupont and Dufferin Streets.

Shots rang out, and the teenager -- who had nothing to do with the gun fight -- was struck in the chest.

He remains in critical condition.

Police have not released any information about the two suspects, and no arrests have been made.
