Road closures will be in effect in Toronto this weekend for three events.

The Taste of the Danforth kicks off Friday in Toronto’s Greek Town, with festivities scheduled until late Sunday.

Danforth Avenue will be closed to motorists from Broadview to Jones Avenues from 11 a.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

Wheels on the Danforth will close Danforth Avenue from Warden to Byng Avenues from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Fun in the Park will be close Danforth Road from Landry to Danforth Avenues for the same period of time.

A series of road closures will also take place for the Toronto 10-Miler and 5K race on Sunday. The race will close Eastern Avenue to the north, Parliament Street to the west, Commissioners Street to the south and Leslie Street to the east on Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Torontonians can take TTC’s Bloor-Danforth subway line and get off at Broadview, Chester, Paper or Donlands stations for direct access to Taste of the Danforth.
