Peel police are looking for a 19-year-old Brampton suspect Friday night following a bizarre babysitting incident earlier in the week.

Police say the suspect was babysitting a nine-year-old and five-year-old Wednesday when the house caught fire. The suspect allegedly fled the scene and left the children behind.

The fire was extinguished by one of the children, who doused the flames with a bucket of water. There was minimal damage to the home.

Police issued a Canada-wide warrant for Joshua Raphael. He is wanted on charges of arson and mischief endangering life.

Raphael is described as black, 5'6" tall with short black hair.
